Welcome to STEP 1 of pre-season! *What is PRE-SEASON?* It's the time before we begin DAY ONE --- and it's here to not only get you in the right MIND-SET to succeed with this CHALLENGE, but also get you prepared and answer any questions you have about the nutrition plan, workout or anything else you have concern over! It is all about getting you set up for success before we dive in!
One thing I need you to HEAR is that participation and accountability is one of the great things of doing these groups. YOU signed up because you want to change your life...please, make this an important step in that journey. This program works, i have seen it FIRST HAND...please, dont short change yourself. Dont just observe. That doesnt work. We are all here for eachother, to help, to encourage and to celebrate our victories.
So, the first thing I want to talk about is Nutrition.
Nutrition is 80% of the work when it comes to fitness. Some of you have might have already done this since you have received your nutrition plans already but for those of you that haven't, do the calculation in the first picture and get your target calories. Then go to the second picture and find your target calorie bracket to find out how many containers you need to start with. Beachbody and all their professionals have come up with this plan. It is a great starting point for people that need to CHANGE THEIR RELATIONSHIP WITH FOOD!
Do take note, though, that if you are near the low end of the calorie bracket that you are assigned you will most likely drop quickly to the lower calorie bracket in the first week or so. You want to keep an eye on that because your progress will plateau if you need to move down a bracket! To check just do the calculation again with your new weight. If you are under 1200 calorie, round up to 1200. If you are above 2300, round down to 2300. If you are breastfeeding add 500 calories to your target goal before choosing your container bracket.
