This prep time is super important because it is getting you mentally prepared for the lifestyle change you are about to make. For this to work, you have to put in the work. If you have done lots of diets before, you will want to do what you have always done, but...this is no diet. There is no magic pill or quick fix. This is only going to happen for you because you are daily going to choose to make it happen. As a lifetime dieter, i am here to tell you...THIS ONLY WORKS BECAUSE I CHOOSE TO SHOW UP EVERY DAY...and i make the choice, everyday. Do i feel like it? Heck no, not always...but, like alot of things in my life...i choose to do it anyway. That was a big "mindset" i had to change...but, i am changing it...and its working.
So, if your waiting for your challenge pack to arrive, there are things you can do during this prep time. I know you might want to PARTY as a last hurrah...just don't! Start working on some things you can do on your own. -Get in the habit to drink water daily. Alot of water! ( You should drink 1/2 your body weight in ounces.) -Try to eat healthy...choose healthier food over junk. Maybe find some healthier things to eat instead of your normal go to food. -Try to get some sort of exercise in each day...at least 30 minutes. It can be anything...just do something. Little steps forward are the best way to start. If time is an issue for you, start figuring out how to budget your time to make priorities happen. I have learned that planning is KEY to a successful lifechange. We want to get all we can out of this month. Its the start to our new us.
